What Members Thought

I liked this book. It held my attention. But I really would have liked an ending that resolved the horrible reality show that was the hunger games, the plot of which was watching teenagers killing each other for entertainment. An ending which somehow abolished this would have made me happier.

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Ok, ok, ok, ok! I jumped on the band wagon. I admit it!
See, I wasn't going to read the series. In fact, it sounded a bit too violent for my taste. Plus, I don't really like becoming a bandwagon fan.
But, I was taken on a date (he was nice, didn't go anywhere though) and we saw the movie. So, I figured I should go ahead and read the books. I mean, why not? Especially when I could check The Hunger Games out for free from Amazon Prime.

Since he was little, he has had a crush on her, and now that she volunteers for her sister in the Hunger Games, she must keep up the act of love for sponsors and gifts in the arena. She thinks about killing himm and saving him, and in the end, Katniss realizes that it w

Hunger Games: My newest obsession

This is one of the best books I´ve ever read. There are books that you think "Okay, It´s a good book, but I´d change this or that...". But this didn´t happen to me. It the way I wanted to be.
Something that I noticed is that Katniss acts like a real person, everything she does or says is very real to me. I could predict what she was going to do, becuase I would do the same.
It´s perfect. ...more
