I had been reading Frederick Douglass's Autobiography and was led to read this story. Fantastic, Sad, Depressing, yet Joyful that Good triumphed over Evil!
Story of Slavery by a woman and the tales of desperation, heartache, and survival in a nasty environment and life.
To think that folks thought this was wonderful and ok.
