I really enjoyed reading the book, but felt it was perhaps a bit too long and a few parts were not as clear as they could have been

This book mentions ritual abuse, which at the time the author had never heard of, but it seems odd for her to doubt what such a young and honest child eventually disclosed.

Torey Hayden fans will love it and those unfamiliar with the issues of extreme abuse will find it approached very well.

A very well written story from the perspective of a special needs teacher.
Though it addresses the issue of ritual abuse and child abuse and has teh child relating what happened to her, it might be triggering but is written in such a way that it isnt overly graphic, just what is needed.
Most adults when confronted with how a child tells any story or relates any experience will dismiss it as fantasy for many reasons. This womans experience working with children however enabled her to not just dismi

Though I'm not sure! 4? 3?
Okay, I can't say I enjoyed it, but I learned a lot! And can't say I'd like the ending, because it's not fiction, but that's why this is valuable.
And I can't say it's a complete useful guide or how to. But it sort of is?
BUT!!!
I loved the author and will certainly read more from her. Her books are not to be enjoyed, but known and studied and read by all child caretakers.
