Reading this as folks with dissociative identity disorder (formerly multiple personality disorder) is interesting. Sadly can relate to quite a few experiences Sybil had (though not all, because we have our own traumas not listed in this or any other book we’re aware of). Will have to read next about the controversy surrounding her story and then pick up other DID, and hopefully even some OSDD, personal accounts.
