What Members Thought
It wasn't bad, but having not yet watched the BBC dramatization, I find it hard to understand what all the fuss was about. I can understand having a dark, handsome actor brood and smolder for an hour a night on TV being a good advertisement for the book...but it's hard to find anything interesting enough in the book to draw the eye of a TV producer in the first place. Easy read. I can see why it was made into a TV show. It felt like the author left much of the story out, pin-pointing a few important scenes that high-lighted a character or relationship. It was fun but not very deep on any level.
