My problem with this book lies with the characters and I don't really like any of the characters in this book. Ever the main protagonist is just annoying, stupid and petty.

Her relationship with Damen also seems superficial and I don't get that the story was like, "Would Damen and Ever finally seal the deal and have sex after 400 years of their love found and love loss story?" I think it's a great premise to have a story of undying love that passes through centuries like they're soulmates whatev

Blue moon was a great follow up to Evermore. Now that Ever is an Immortal she is eager to learn everything she can about her new abilities. Ever turns to her beloved Damen to show her the way. This books started kind of slow. but it got real good towards 1/4 of the book. I really hated the end though. but I guess thats what keeps us reading.

In the front of Blue Moon author Alyson Noel adds quote " Every man has his own destiny; the only imperative is to follow it, to accept it, no matter where it leads him." By Henry Miller. This quote completely portrays her story line which also embeds in our heads that although the past can't be changed the future has a number of possibilities it's all up to us on how we make it.
