Why do you continue to make such foolish decisions? But before I get ahead of myself let me say that I loved this book more than I loved Evermore.

The beginning started off a little slow. Damen is teaching Ever how to manifest and her hormones are running wild. Typical young adult virginal protagonist. Then there’s a new guy at school that Ever automatically gets bad vibes from and Damen starts acting weird for his immortal self.

The beginning started off a little slow. Damen is teaching Ever how to manifest and her hormones are running wild. Typical young adult virginal protagonist. Then there’s a new guy at school that Ever automatically gets bad vibes from and Damen starts acting weird for his immortal self.

Yes, yes. Damen starts acting mortal. Not good. But that’s not the worst of it. Get this, the Damen that we all know & love disappears from this book after page 68! PAGE FUCKING 68! As far as I’m concerned Damen doesn’t come back into this book until the last damn page.

My only issue with this book is Ever. The poor decisions made by her in this book are countless. She is by far one of the most selfish people in the book besides her friends Haven & Miles & I use that term lightly. Seems to me that the only reason they’re friends to begin with is because they all share two common traits: Selfishness & Poor Judgement. Who needs enemies with friends like them?

Back to the bad decisions Ever made. Trusting Ava after what happened in Summerland. Breaking into Damen’s house with Ava. Giving Ava the task of saving the life of the man she loves. Thinking that going back to be with your family would change the future, I mean come on some things are just meant to be. And last but not least, TRUSTING ROMAN. WTF were you thinking Ever? Hold could you be so dumb.

I just don’t understand how authors could make such unrealistic characters these days. I mean nobody could be that stupid. Seems to me that Ever was smarter in Evermore. What happened, did her immortality cause her to lose a few brain cells, must have.

BTW, it was so damn obvious that Romy & Rayne were friends of Riley’s. I knew they were the “sign” the minute they appeared in Summerland to help her, IMO Ever is just mentally retarded.
