I was lucky enough to get an advanced copy of this book and I'm halfway through it right now. Holy cow, this is good stuff! Alyson Noel has outdone herself this time. It still has all that great teen drama that she's famous for but now she's added this element of mystery, intrigue and supernatural and it's brilliant. I can't wait for this book to release in February. I know it's going to be a huge hit!

Excellent read!
I received this book as a Goodreads giveaway, and I put off reading it for several days because - honestly - I knew I needed to review it and I was afraid I might not like it and would then feel bad about giving it an unkind review. Thankfully, I'm relieved to be able to give this book an honest and OUTSTANDINGLY positive "thumbs up."
I don't give out very many 5-star ratings for books, but this one certainly qualifies. I loved the characters and I loved the writer's style. There ...more

You know if Twilight Series is a parent it is definitely one of its babies. I don't know what's the hell are authors trying to copy twilight, I really don't get it, I mean originality is crucial to a story, right? I'm pissed off at first like "ARrrgh, another twilight crap wanna be!"

This book kept me guessing until the end. Damen is mysterious and I couldn't figure him out. Even after the book was over, I still think he's such an intriguing mystery. Ever is suffering after her parents and sister and dog are killed in a car crash which she miraculously lives through and she feels guilty because she feels the whole thing was her fault anyway. First half of the book is quite the copy cat of "Twilight" but then the last half turns into a totally different book... good book but not sure how to feel about how similar it is to Twilight hmmmmmmmm???

Similar to twilight! it was wayyyy good
One of my faves!
This book was a real mind twister. I never would've thought the character who did so much harm would be her friends friend. And its such a good love story! They get to spend eternity together? Or at least that's what I think.

This was an easy read but very interesting. I am anxious for the next in the series to arrive in August.
