What Members Thought
This is a 3.5 for me. I liked Bastian a lot. He's better than any of the other Satyrs. Since I've read these a bit out of order, I'm confused. I don't know if Bastian is before or after the Nicolas. I'm guessing after. Who I really liked is Silvia. She's quirky and amuses me. Leading Bastian on a chase like that was pretty amusing. I kept thinking of "Invasions of the Body Snatchers" when I read this book.

I LOVED THIS STORY!!! What more can I say that hasn't already been said. I stayed up all night to finish. The storyline was fantastic. Great plots, twists and turns that kept you guessing at the next move. Ms. Amber's writing, as always, was poetic and enchanting. The ending wasn't as spectacular as I wanted it to be. I wanted blood, guts and comeuppance for the protaganists. But alas, it was just...meh. But don't fret the ending left the door open for more great stories to come in the Lord of S
