It was good. The writing was boring.
There are some books that have too much dialogue and then there are some books that have too much descriptions and then there are some books that have the PERFECT balance of both. This was one of the books that have TOO MUCH DESCRIPTION! And you would think with all of that that the book would be HALF-WAY UNDERSTANDABLE! This was a good story. Love the characters Jace and Clary. But Im starting to wonder where the author is going with this storyline. She had me for the first half of this book. I wouldn't say it was my all time favorite. But it was good.

I liked this book very much. The caracters are coherent with the story. At the beginning it was hard to get into this book, I don't know why, but at one point I stayed up all night to know how the story ends. I liked the characters very much. Clary and Jace are the main caracters, but the caracter I like most is Simon, Clary's friend from the "normal" world. The story became more and more facinating and I surely will read the second book. This was a deleted prologue on Jace, it was pretty good but it would have made the story frag on if Cassandra had added it to her story although the bit with the dream and the girl was interesting.
