First of all, WOW!
When I received the book two days after it's release date, I didn't want to read it. Like I wasn't ready. Studpid, right? lol Well, I finally opened the book and read the first chapter, and believe me I couldn't put it down.
The whole book was almost about Simon, but there were parts about Clary and Jace, Izy and Simon, Mia and Jordan, Magnus and Alec, etc. etc. blah, blah.
When I finished the book, the last chapter had me cursing under my breath words that would burn my sister' ...more

ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME? How could she? LEAVE US WITH THAT CLIFF-HANGER AND THEN NOT RELEASE ANOTHER ONE UNTIL 2012? HAS SHE LOST HER MIND! This my second favorite, in the series. 1st being City of Glass. Her writing seems to be improving. The analogies are less... tedious. OMV, I swore I was gonna fall out if I heard one more "As if...." cause she doesn't do it right. Compare something to something else. When she does it comes of cheesy. As the first 2 books were.

TOTALLY AWESOME!!! loved it all the way! not really surprised since it is one of Cassandra Clares book and i think she is a genius. ugh but the cliff hangers just kill me sometimes. it was better when i had all books with me and didn't have to stop, but since this is 4th book and the 5th one hasn't even come out yet........................ i'm literally going CRAZY!!! so i just have to say that i LOVED IT as always! just as expected from Cassandra :D

Jace and Clary had a hard time in this book because he was being controlled by a Greater Demon (Lilith). Which caused alot a problems in their relationship. And he had no idea why he was having the crazy dreams about him killing Clary. He just thought if he kept his distance it would help somehow. Which only made things worse. Even though they killed her in the end (or like Simons mark killed her). Johnathon (Clarys brother) was brought back to life..
What? How could it end like this? No! Up until the ending the story had been going well and then just the last few pages ruined it for me. Why? I don't really see the point at what Cassandra Clare was going for... for me totally ruined the story.

Oh my god this book was amazing!!!!!! there is absolutely nothing like this series! There are always questions that are unanswered till the end and then its like a huge explosion and you get a huge surprise! I loved it!!!
Cassandra Clare never ceases to amaze me.Another great addition to the Mortal Instruments series just stinks that we have to wait awhile for another installment. Can not wait!!!
