What Members Thought
This was probably one of the few movies I watched before reading the book and it really made the book pop even more. I actually kind of have no words for this. This story is incredible and something no one should live life without reading. Go. Now. Pick up a copy!
I'm at least a generation off from the target audience for this 70's cult classic so maybe that's why it didn't click with me. It is a clever satire of every HEA (Happily Ever After) fantasy princess story ever told but it tries too hard and overshoots the mark. And author Goldman's comments about his fictional wife and son in his interruptions, as I have to call them, were downright cold. Not my idea of entertainment.
