I was a big fan of Firefly Lane so when I saw it had a sequel I was excited to reconnect with the characters and see how they were managing without Kate in their lives. Many of the reviewers thought this book was too depressing and didn't enjoy it as much as the previous book but I thought this was an incredible sequel. I agree that the first 300 pages were tragic and heart wrenching but they perfectly depicted a family in crisis after the death of a loved one. I didn't think things would go so ...more

Firefly Lane wasn't all that great to me but I felt like this sequel was much better. I really liked getting to see why Tully's mom acted the way she did. The book is a real look at regrets and how people can deal with them.

The only part that I did not really like was how Tully is "going into the light" and visiting with Kate. That was a little weird for me. ...more

LOVED this book. Could not put it down. I laughed, cried, smiled and felt like I was right there with Tully and Kate. My heart ached for Tully and Marah. I would love to see another story with Marah and how her life turns out. Kristin Hannah is a fantastic writer and writes stories that grip your heart. Love her!
