Wow! This took me by surprise, didn't have any preconceived thoughts about book but I knew it would be a love story of sort. Didn't know it would be a love story that goes far beyond the typical boy meets girl and they fall in love.....wonderful story. Took a chapter or two to grab me, but once it did I couldn't put it down.

2024 was the third time I’ve read this book, inspired after seeing a musical based on the source material. I remembered so little from it and certainly didn’t make as many connections as I did this final time.
