I’m not going to lie; I didn’t want to have anything to do with this book, but I’m so very glad I picked it up! I recently moved, and my new neighborhood has a book club, which I was eager to join to hopefully begin making friends in the area. As is every Maeve Binchy book, the characters and their stories draw you in. I enjoyed the centrality of Stone House to everyone's stories and envy Chickie's ability to take on a problem and find a solution that inevitably seems so simple. There were many references to other books of Maeve's, and I'd love to go back and see who/what I can find. And is there a Stoneybridge? It seems like a great place to look up.....
