This book brings up a lot of interesting things to think about when it comes to medical research. I found myself really interesting in the story in the beginning but my interest did wane as the book continued. I think it could have been edited down a bit.

Very beautiful story and ending. I almost cried at the end (view spoiler). It was such a clichè ending.

I might not have thoroughly read through the end notes and story, but I loved the book.

I recommend his book to anyone and everyone. You will truly come to care a out he Lacks family, science, and cancer. It is a captivating book that everyone should read at least once i ...more

I enjoyed the mix of science and non-fiction family story. Both stories held my attention and kept me wanting for more. An update would be a great addition... maybe an online follow up!
