I liked the overall plot, and parts of this felt like a Janet Evanovich book (usually the quirkier parts :) ), but either I'm getting rather cynical, or the romance parts were pretty cheesy. At one point, early on, I was tempted to kick the "romance novel exercise program" into gear (http://smartbitchestrashybooks.com/bl...). I felt like reading Elizabeth Peters' "Die For Love" afterwards, just to cleanse my palate. ...more
