Hm... where to start. First of all, I was excited to find out more about Christian's history in this book and I definitely wasn't let down in that aspect. I was happy for Ana that Christian nixed his Dominant habitats but at the same time, it felt so unreal, a complete personality change in a few days (although Ana's fears come from this fact). While I enjoyed the first book in this series, I found this one downright painful. I'd actually started reading it back in early 2013, but could not get into it. It took me two years to pick it up again and I vowed to finish it - no matter how long it took me to trudge through it.

Definitely something enticing about these books and I will read the third sometime this summer. The writing is annoying and the predictability of the circumstances which lead to the sexual encounters reminds me of the cheesiness of a Harlequin Romance "novel". I don't consider myself well-read and I certainly haven't ever tried to write a book, but in my opinion, the writing is not good.

Again, I loved this book...actually I liked this one better than the first. I can't believe the ending!!! So glad I'm off today so I can start the 3rd right away.
