3.5 stars: well-written, quick-paced legal and psychological thriller. Bonus points for being set in suburban Boston. I wish the author had gone into more detail on some plot points rather than leave them vague, but overall a solid read.
Good, well-written who dunnit that will keep you going to the very last page.
If you are looking for a legal thriller and you want a book to "grab" you then this book is for you. A father who is an Assistant District Attorney is investing a murder of a local teen. The murder investigation takes a turn when his son Jacob becomes the primary suspect. The father defends his son in the investigation.

The premise of this book was really interesting and I enjoying the moral dilemma throughout the book. I just wish it wasn't quite as long. Towards the end, I was less into seeing what would happen and just wanted to be at the end. That being said, the ending was phenomenal. I love how it didnt just end with the end of the trial. A really great book!
