Spent the last three hours (it's 2am on a Sunday and I have to be up at 6) finishing this book. This was my second attempt as the first time I got a third of the way through and was not amused. I am so glad I picked it back up even though when I asked the librarian to help me find it in the new OM library, she told me "oh, that's in teen fiction."

John Green takes the reader through the life a girl recovering from cancer, Hazel. Her names, Hazel, represents not only her in-between personality, but also her in-between disease (if that makes sense). She meet Augustus while in her group in which they talk about their cancer and how long they have had it. Everything changes in Hazel's life because of Augustus. This is a great book. The ending is not what I expected and I would have liked it to end in a different way. Easy read and I would recommend it. PS I did not cry. I wanted it to make me cry but it didn't.
