I found this book beautifully terrible. The metaphors, similes, intense enrichment of vocabulary enhanced the book's capability of learning something to a higher level! The character Augustus Water was a true symbol of hope- not you average hopeful guy. No, he had his own ups and downs. Yet, he still couldn't resist from falling in love with Hazel.

I love this book. I love the sarcasm and humor even when dealing with a very serious disease. This was a book about teens living with cancer not dying with cancer, even in their short lives they lived more than most people. This book makes you think about how precious life is. I didn’t want to read this book earlier because I just suffer the lost of a love one to cancer recently. This book reminds me of all the good times we had and how she fought even to the very end. Warning: there are some really sad parts (I used a lot of tissues!) but I guess that is expected in a book where the main characters have cancer. The beginning was so fantastic and funny, which is what drew me into the book in the first place.
I mean what is there not to like about a book that has this quote " I fell in love the way you fall asleep: slowly, and then all at once." Simply beautiful! (ironical ...more

The Fault in Our Stars is the achingly beautiful story of 16 year old cancer survivor, Hazel Grace Lancaster. Hazel was diagnosed with Stage IV thyroid cancer at 13 but has exceeded her life expectancy with the help of an oxygen tank and experimental drugs. When her mother suspects that Hazel is succumbing to depression she urges her to join a Cancer Support Group. While at support group she meets Augustus Waters who is gorgeous and hopelessly smitten with Hazel. What follows is a moving story o

Do not listen to this book in the car, because you'll be crying too hard to drive. The narrator is really, really good for this one, in my opinion.
