Agatha is hired as a public relations specialist for Ancombe Water Co. for the village of Cotswold. One council representative will not share his decision on the company's proposal, and is later found dead. Agatha investigates while trying to improve her relationship with James. They have significant communication issues that are strained continuously. She later enters into personal relationship with one of the water company's executives. All while marketing the company's campaign she is verbally attacked and her character assissnated by the councul and village residents. She later quits but continue investigating the murder. She begans to suspect her new romantic interest of murder, and she is correct.
