Lambright tells a story of a magazine reporter Laverne Diamond's assigment to interview a 60's all girl singing group - Sweethearts Of SOUL". Each of the 4 women were orphaned, raised by foster parents,sang inthe church choir in their youth and eventually became superstars. But over 30 urs later the women are not speaking to each other. Each has their own version and personal interpretation of why tey are no longer sining and the efforts of the group has had on their lives. Remember the fights involving the Supremes?
