Kirk Franklin shares his story of his childhood, adulthood, marriage, and struggles that shaped him. He explains how his great aunt raised him because his mother did not want him, and could not abort him. He explains how he was molested by "church men" and there was no help given to him; so he had to deal with the situation on his own. He explains how he was taught about sex, his usage of sex to prove he was not gay, and how a love of ponography negatively affected his marriage. He descripes after marrying his wife he wanted his stepdaughter to like him, so he let her "get away" with more than he should have allowed. But, all in all how God's love and mercy had a profound impact on his life.
