Okay, I'll be the first to admit I loved the Twilight books from the first book. I read Twilight before it was a phenomenon and had to wait for the subsequent books to be released. I'll also admit that while I was immediately drawn into the world of Twilight I can acknowledge that they're not exactly great literature. But I don't care I love them! So I was pretty excited when this book came out and like a good fan I purchased a copy.

I enjoyed this book. It was a quick read and done in a few hours...but as it says it is only a novella. However I felt that there should have been one or two places to stop. The book was one big chapter and I not sure how I would have interrupted the flow with a break, but it was hard to find a safe place to place the book down for a minute or two.

I read it just because....wasn't impressed. I thought it would be more interesting but Stephanie Meyer could have chosen one of the other undeveloped characters to explore and given them a much more interesting backstory.
