Harlequin has been extremely gracious to allow me to read an ARC of this novel, via Netgalley, prior to its release at the end of this month, and I must say I really enjoyed it. This book was very impressive especially with the thourogh reserch of England in the year of 1897. Even if it seems a little old boring, you should read on to find out that... well it does have some flaws but compliments the storyline in the book... in a weird but satisfying way. Plus, it wasn't like it was non-fiction anyway. You would be shocked that this isn't the very first book in The Steampunk Chronicles; it's the second, but it doesn't seem like it. I think that this book is basically a fanfic-mishmash of other books: Leviathan, Cinder, Clockwork Angel, Forgiven, and most likely even more if I can think of them!
