Wow.
This is all I can say.
Wow.
This book was fantastic. If you want a mystery that you can't see the ending coming, this one if for you.
It is very dark and grisly at times but I could not put the book down.
It is the story of Libby Day, whose two sisters and mother were murdered 24 years ago by her brother. Libby was in the house at the time and managed to escape. I really enjoyed this book, and now I can't wait for her next book! She really is great at getting into the minds of unusual characters and making them believable and even sympathetic. I did have kind of a problem with the actual killer of the mother, it seemed like that answer was sort of thrown in there. However, the buildup with her brother in the 24 hours before the murders was perfect, you could really understand his feelings of impotence and frustration.
