I've been dying to read this book for a long time now, and I'm so happy I was finally able to do it! I was sucked in from the first moment I started reading it, and I'm excited to start the next!

I really enjoyed this book! It reminded me a bit of the vampire chronicles by Anne Rice and also the Twilight Series, but with a more historical and adult perspective. I love books that combine supernatural forces with romance. I thought the characters were well developed. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that I became slightly bored by some of the historical details. I just picked up the second book of the trilogy and I can't wait to get started!
