An adventure with a witch who does not want her powers, just wants to be history researcher and writer. In Oxford college whe meets a handsome (but very old) vampire, demons, a wizard, and other otherwordly creatures, who all want the ancient manuscript that she has discovered in the vaults. It has the secrets of life and death for all creatures and humans. Ghosts warn her, her vampire's mother does not want him to associate with a witch, and her relatives feel the vampire is evil. I've been dying to read this book for a long time now, and I'm so happy I was finally able to do it! I was sucked in from the first moment I started reading it, and I'm excited to start the next!
