Totally worth waiting six years to read!~ I haven't felt this happy to read a book since I read Outlander! Great romance, great action, great mystery, and great setting! The books I normally read have the US as a primary setting. It's great to read something that's set in a European country that isn't the UK or France; something Slavic, like the Czech Republic!

Daughter of Smoke and Bone is a captivating and very unique fantasy novel. The main character is such a mystery, even to herself, and getting to experience her story unfolding with her makes for an engaging reading experience. The story begins mainly in our world, and the way the author describes the various cities we get to visit, especially Prague and Marrakesh, gave me serious wanderlust.
