What Members Thought
This book provides an important perspective of what it is like to be black in America but not African American. Ifemelu is from Nigeria and travels to the United States for college. She struggles and overcomes by eventually becoming a famous blogger on topics like race and feminism. I wanted to love this story more, but the end dragged.
