Maus is gripping look at the horrors of World War II and the atrocities committed against those of the Jewish faith. The graphic novel portrays the Germans as cats and Jewish people as mice. The author vividly depicts the horrors of the Holocaust and the far reaching affect this event had on the survivors and their families. Much of my review is the same as I said for the second volume - this one nicely covered their life before the war and all of their hiding and running from one place to another before finally getting "sold" to Auschwitz. Also tells the full tales of all of their family members - those that made it through the war hiding, or in the camps, and those that did not.
