Mary Roach is an 11 year old boy in disguise as a grown woman. I was surprised to find that this book was full of examination of the bodily functions an astronaut has to deal with in space.

Mary Roach writes about science in a way that is funny and accessible to everyone. She really, really likes using footnotes though, which I think interrupts the flow of her otherwise engaging narrative.
