I had the privilege of attending an author event offered through my local library and hearing Christina Baker Kline discuss Orphan Train and the amount of research that went into writing this novel. Although, Orphan Train is a work of fiction the orphan trains are a part of American History that isn't often spoken about. 3.5 stars. I really can't stand books that are written in 3rd person present tense. Other than that, interesting historical subject.

I enjoyed book, not the ending. Think I am burned out on iepgan stories.
