What Members Thought
Story about 8 year old Egyptian girl who is traded for her sister's place in domestic slavery. This memoir is very touching and enlightening. I was not that aware of slavery being an active problem today, it goes along with human trafficking. Sad to read of the trials this young girl, Shiyma has endured but very uplifting to read of the woman she has become.
