I think I'm getting to the point where I'm tired of the "genius" who has every solution to whatever problem is presented. What about the idiots? Don't they deserve a book too?
The book itself isn't necessarily bad, it's just not perfect either. As in most books, the build up is the good chunk of the book, the resolution sits in the last few pages, rushed into irrelevancy, and the story ends, falling flat on its face.

I read this book awhile ago, but it still resonates with me. As far as sci-fi goes I tend to think Ender's Game has entered the list of classics. The main character was well written and the plot was entertaining and enjoyable. For me predictable plots are aggravating and I greatly enjoyed the trajectory the plot went along.
