Eu só não havia lido Guerra do Velho antes por pura teimosia. Porque não faltou incentivo lá em casa desde que minha namorada leu o livro em inglês no ano passado e simplesmente adorou a leitura. Só que, naquele momento, a ideia de começar mais uma série longa, com seis livros publicados até o momento, não me era muito atraente. Mesmo assim eu tinha muita vontade de ler algo do aclamado autor John Scalzi, que acabara de assinar um contrato de mais de três milhões de dólares com a editora Tor Boo

Good, fast-paced fun. Lots of ideas which Scalzi doesn't feel the need to settle on - the chapters flow quickly, but it feels like there's a lot more content than a book this size would allow. I'm sold on the series and can't wait to pick up the next one.

For some reason I needed some.age on me to truly grasp this book.
