I'm reading it for school, not really looking forward to it, but I'll give it a try.

Okay, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I actually enjoyed this book. Compared to all of the other novels I'm forced to read in class this one I actually got into. The first chapter almost turned me off, but with Fitzgerald's poetic language and intriguing story, I found that it wasn't as bad as I initial thought it was going to be. ...more

Classic & a must-read, but only if the critiques are read afterwards. Important to examine all of the aspects.
