As I began reading this I was unsure of it but soon it gripped my attention. The surreal nature of the society that it protrayed has many warning of what has been and could be again in the form of information control through the burning of books but also by giving the population an overload of, what I would decribe as tittle tattle. Este o lectura ok, dar nu prea m-a impresionat. Poate si pentru ca romanele distopice nu se numără printre preferatele mele. Intr-o lume in care pompierii nu stingeau focul, ci il aprindeau (arzand carti, de fapt) este aproape imposibil sa te imaginezi traind. Ideea cartii insa mi s-a parut interesanta, insa la final nu prea am ramas cu ceva memorabil. Sau poate nu a fost momentul potrivit pentru lectura cartii. Dar va recomand totusi sa o citiți.

Wow, I can't believe I picked back-to-back read by authors. Alice Sebold reading The Lovely Bones grew on me, Ray Bradbury is difficult to understand, he doesn't enunciate and this will be a struggle. Changed to audiobook read by Stephen Hoye and liking it better.
