So many wonderful reviews about this book! I'm not going to review it but what I will comment is that this is the kind of book that afterwards makes you grab a bottle of wine and sit down for a couple of hours just to ponder about choices, consequences, pointlessness and life in general. It brought me back to Sartre and his existential rants which I enjoy reading every once in a while. I will definitely pick this up twice or thrice in a distant future. This is a book that, while well written, I have difficulty recommending to everyone. In fact, I feel like I need to read it again to fully appreciate how well the author matched his writing style to the message of the book. However, this book is not for everyone. If you're looking for a feel-good "pick me up" sort of book, this is not it. The primary message centers on the lack of meaning in life and in human actions/ interactions.
