The highly underrated Anne Bronte is certainly the best writer of the three sisters, which might be the reason that Charlotte discouraged the publication of Anne's books. The Tenant is the better of Anne's two books.

The writing is fine and it’s plenty insightful. Lots of great quotes you can pull from it. At first I wasn’t much captivated by the characters and the story, but they all grew on me and as it got closer the end the story really pulled me in.

Here are some of the interesting questions/ideas I believe Anne Bronte was asking her reader to ponder while reading the book: How much can we as human beings really be able to judge one another with the lack of knowledge and understanding we have of one anot
