I decided to read "Long Way Down" for a reading challenge which called for a book you can in a day. it's written as poetry, about a kid whose brother is shot and so he decides to take revenge. the book takes place during the elevator ride down his building on his way to kill his brothers killer. it's so original, captivating, and heartbreaking. I really recommend it, don't be fooled by it's YA designation at the library!
