Angelfall was a dark, bizarre, twisted nightmare of a book...in a good way! Penryn would rank up their close to Katniss Everdeen of the Hunger Games for me. Trust me, she is extremely bad ass. You would have to be to survive what Penryn does.

This is 3.5 stars, rounded up. I liked this, and it got me engaged, but there are some super graphic scenes in here, out of nowhere. The book gets pretty dark, unexpectedly. Still, I'm onto the next book, so I guess I didn't mind too much. I want to see what the author is going to do next, since the plot is not going where I expected it to.
