Reading _The Hobbit_ is the mental equivalent for me of curling up in a warm blanket. Even though it has been years since I've last read it, the language still rings familiar and true.
When I was younger, I was focused on the adventure. On this reading, it was the humbleness and homeyness of the tale that stood out to me.
