December 2012- first reading.May 2015-listening to audio in preparation of finishing the series. I have yet to read the Harry Potter series but from what I have heard it starts out fun and magical and gets darker as the series progresses. I liked this book overall. The stuff at school, post graduation - decent. The last "book" of the book left me kind of underwhelmed and unsatisfied.

Cynical view of Hogwarts and Narnia, but strips away a little too much of the fun. Uneven overall, but had its moments.
