Beautiful writing.
This was the Sword and Laser February read - And I am loving reading books set in other cultures and countries. It's a quick read or listen. And I really enjoyed the book. Now I need to read the second book.

Beautifully written, but the epitome of telling instead of showing. And I couldn't figure out what was going on most of the time, but I think that was because this is more of a meandering storytelling exercise than it is a story itself. Then when the end came and still no story had appeared, I was like, what was the point? There were no characters established beings a few broad strokes, no plot, no tension to resolve.

I don't recommend the audio for this one, but I enjoyed it. I have a feeling I need to go back and try it again with the ebook at some point though, I'm sure I missed some of what was happening because of the way it's structured.
