I absolutely devoured this book, and given how difficult it has been for me to enjoy reading lately I am so glad I finally picked this one up. The world building was a fresh take on a tired genre, bringing new life to it and really owning the space without compromise. I really adore how Roanhorse builds her characters and Maggie's characterization is particularly fantastic.
