What Members Thought
This was a light and fun read, although I picked three instead of four stars because I was expecting better women in the second half (because the sword and laser discussion hinted things got better in the second book) but I thought things were worse. The women had very little agency or common sense, and were constantly used as things for the men to rescue to demonstrate virtue. A fun story, with acceptable writing. I did like the two main characters by the end, but none of the others really stood out all that much. I may continue the series eventually, when I'm looking for another fun+easy read.

Great character development with Royce and Hadrian. Fun premise and great story telling.
