ebook. DNF at 180 pages.

This book has won many awards, and it is a good and important book. However, it’s just not for me. While I enjoyed watching Elma York fight against the sexism of her time and arc toward her goals, the prose was not interesting enough for me to hang with it. Perhaps I’ll try again at a later date.
