This is a novel that blows past conventional ideas like "disbelief." Apparently humanity, a species whose only real claim to fame is war, now stinks at war, and can only be saved by a child genius who is one part prophecy, one part bad science, and one part wish-fulfillment. I read this book for my young adult class, but I had always kind of wanted to read it anyway. I liked the world and the character Card created. It was interesting to see Ender grow and change, despite what the adults do to him. It was slow in parts, but overall rather good. I enjoyed it.

Ok whatever, it's good. But I do NOT understand what the fuss is about with this series. After the 2nd or 3rd book it just gave me a headache. Read the first one, ignore the rest. ...more
